On site when President George W. Bush delivered his famous “Bullhorn Speech” just after the Sept. 11 attacks, this Ground Zero Flag has been presented to honor thousands of local heroes during National Anthem ceremonies from Alaska to Afghanistan.
The Ground Zero Flag will be available to provide every American a chance to view and touch on the way back to New York on Sept. 11, 2022. Fans will enjoy the unique opportunity to honor local veterans and first responders throughout its 9-month cross-country journey.

Shubsda knows he has some big shoes to fill, Dan Duquette, former Red Sox GM helped develop the first-ever farm system with the Military-Stars before beginning the historic effort to turn around the Baltimore Orioles. |
I was fortunate enough to serve as the Officer-in-Charge reporting to the organization fresh off a recent stint in professional baseball. I was able to incorporate my knowledge and love for the game into an experience I will never forget. Not only was I able to serve my country while competing on the diamond each day, but I was able to truly understand how to give back to both the community and my fellow service members on a national scale. After my departure that fall, I returned to active duty and was able to use that summer to reinvigorate my passion in my role as a combat aviator. After many years and multiple deployments to the Middle-East, I am confident that my time leading the program played a large role in shaping the man I am today. I remain a close friend and mentor in my career as an officer in the National Guard and the U. S. Navy. I am forever indebted for my professional growth while with the program. I highly recommend it!
